Why do you love working with Fastaff?

I love working with Fastaff because each staff member is treated like family. I also love them because the recruiters take the time to get to know you and that’s very important. 

What do you love about nursing?

I been a nurse for nine years and I love nursing because it allows me to share my passion with others. I love to teach my patients about their disease processes and medications. I also love nursing because nursing changed my life. I was a single mother of three and nursing changed our lives for good.

What makes travel nursing rewarding for you?

Traveling nursing is rewarding because it allows me to practice in states where I never would have imagined I’d practice. 

What has been your most challenging Fastaff assignment (a difficult case, surgery, patient illness, etc.) and how did you feel that impacted your worth as a nurse afterwards?

I actually work nights and had to go on days for the first time. I weathered the storm but I learned that day shift is challenging and it gave me a new outlook on day shift employees. 

Describe a time where you felt more valuable/respected because of the experience and knowledge you gained from your Fastaff assignment.

I can’t choose one because I gained experience and knowledge from all three assignments I did with Fastaff. 

Describe the most miraculous or impressive thing you’ve witnessed or been a part of during your time as a nurse with Fastaff.

I was nominated three times for a daisy award. I was impressed that Fastaff really cared about the nominations. Also I was impressed that I missed my ride to the hospital and my recruiter gave me a ride. In my opinion that was very personable. 

How have you accomplished some of your personal and professional goals by traveling with Fastaff (i.e. family life, financial freedom, more personal freedom, etc.)?

By working with Fastaff I am able to be flexible with my family and NP career. Fastaff has allowed me to do what I love and make a decent living. I will continue to work and grow with Fastaff.
