In January 2018, the flu season hit its peak, becoming the most widespread in over a decade. Hospitals needed quick and adaptable solutions as they faced increased patient numbers and staff illnesses. Knowing the typical 13-week travel nursing assignments wouldn't keep up with the sudden and unpredictable rise in demand, several hospitals turned to Fastaff Travel Nursing for their Rapid Response® services.
