Why do you love working with Fastaff?

I love working with Fastaff because they’re honest, have a great staff, and have given me the opportunity to travel and earn an income that would have taken years to earn as a staff employee.

What do you love about nursing?

I love working as a Certified Surgical Technician because as time progresses, the medical field has become more advanced in technology, offering patient’s quality care. To be a part of this is awesome. 

What makes travel nursing rewarding for you?

Travel nursing is very rewarding financially. I’m able to pay for school, meet nice people, and make friends along the way.

Describe a time where you felt more valuable/respected because of the experience and knowledge you gained from your Fastaff assignment.

The beginning of Covid-19, people were afraid of the unknown. I was able to share my faith and encourage others.

What has been your most challenging Fastaff assignment (a difficult case, surgery, patient illness, etc.) and how did you feel that impacted your worth as a nurse afterwards? 

The most challenging assignment for me would be the last one. Experiencing the death of my sister, having my gallbladder removed, and going to school has impacted my worth in many facets. Losing my sister, I’ve learn to cherish the moments, and as a patient, it help me to see things from both roles. As a healthcare provider and a patient it has encouraged me to be the best nurse ever.

The most impressive thing that I’ve ever witnessed was after my surgery and 1400 miles away from home - my coworkers came to visit me, and help me in any ways that I needed. This will always be a memorable moment for me. 

How have you accomplished some of your personal and professional goals by traveling with Fastaff (i.e. family life, financial freedom, more personal freedom, etc.)?

Working for Fastaff has allowed me to go to school and travel, it has help me financially, and allowed me personal freedom to schedule time off for myself.
