ER and ICU.
Seven years and six strike assignments.
They are the best paying and I’m treated well by the Fastaff staff.
I love making a difference in other people’s lives and seeing people get well. With travel nursing, I still have the desire to help people. I am going on 27 years of hands-on nursing and am not burnt out (a miracle).
The great pay, exciting locations and meeting new friends.
Whenever I am working a tough assignment with another Fastaff traveler, I get incredible support and comradery.
Working in the ER with local nurses that don't know how to speak up for themselves in poor working conditions. I enjoyed being an example for them.
Having a patient say that I was the best nurse he is ever had in his life when he is 75 years old.
Working as a traveler has helped me pay my tuition in medical school (to be a doctor). I had to attend medical school out of the country and Fastaff was always there waiting to give me work when I was back in the states and quickly placed me on an assignment. I have financial freedom with Fastaff and it gives me the mobility to work in different states without having to worry about housing. Also, pet housing is always provided without a worry.
